MEJOR Technologies Selected for Protechting: Open Innovation Challenge

We are proud to share that MEJOR Technologies has been selected for the Protechting Open Innovation Challenge, an international programme that connects high-potential startups with leading corporate partners to develop and pilot real-world solutions.

This year’s edition received more than 600 applications from across the globe, with only 20 startups selected to move forward. Being chosen as part of this group marks an important milestone for MEJOR Technologies and validates the impact of the work we are building.

Within the programme, we will collaborate with Fidelidade, one of Portugal’s leading insurance companies. LUCI was selected by Fidelidade for its ability to predict and provide insight into wildfire occurrence, supporting a more proactive approach to risk management. Together, we will establish a pilot in Portugal aimed at strengthening underwriting by improving how wildfire risk is quantified, enabling more accurate pricing and better-informed decision-making.
